Morrison Computer Repair is a family-owned computer repair and sales business with small town values. Our goal is to provide you with the best service in the area at a reasonable cost.

ABOUT US

Introduction

Morrison Computer Repair is owned and operated by Robert and Christine Fulton.  Born in St. Joseph IL, Robert graduated from Morrison High School in 1992 after moving to the area for his junior year of high school. 

Christine was born and raised in Peoria, IL.  She relocated to the Quad Cities in 1999 after marrying Robert and starting a family.  They moved to Morrison in 2000.

Robert and Christine have 3 children.  Their oldest son completed a Multi-craft Degree at Sauk Valley Community College and works as an industrial maintenance technician in Tampa, Florida.  Their second oldest son is currently working on his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Western Illinois University Quad Cities Campus.  He is on track to graduate in 2025.  Their youngest child, a daughter, attends Morrison High School and is part of the class of 2025.

Family

Education

Robert completed several semesters at Sauk Valley Community College.  He has completed numerous specialty seminars and job training over the years.  Among his certifications is Microsoft Certified Professional. 

Christine earned an associate in applied science degree from Illinois Central College in the field of Office Specialist.  Also among her education are numerous seminars, research, reading and online training.

Robert has worked in various settings including Kone Elevator company in Moline.  The team he was a part of supported hundreds of users and workstations all over the world.  After leaving Kone Elevator he worked for a small business in Clinton Iowa called the Computer Box.  As a Systems Administrator he was the main support for several small business including Skyline Center and the City of Clinton. 

Christine stated her career in the data center for the Alliance Library System, providing support for online and offline libraries in central Illinois.  After relocating to the area while working several office jobs, she worked on perfecting her skills supporting the people of the community with PC repairs. She worked for the Computer Box as a PC Support Specialist.  Those duties included office support as well as repairs and maintenance of in-house computers as well as repairing customer equipment.  She also provided support to Robert’s endeavors as needed during his support of local businesses.

After Robert experienced health problems and had to step back from his career, Christine opened Morrison Computer Repair.

Experience

Hobbies and Interests

Robert enjoys programming and science fiction games.  Prior to his health issues, he was active in the live music scene in the area and was a member of local bands including Smokin’ Roaches, Sarandipity, and Down 24.  He was also a guest performer for several other local bands.  He also enjoyed woodworking and making furniture, decorations and wood turned items.

Christine enjoys music, reading, games, video games, and time with family.  Most of all, she enjoys crafting.  Among her crafts are sewing and quilting.  Cricut crafts including sublimation, vinyl, paper, card making and more adorn her craft studio.  Newer in her repertoire is resin casting.  These projects include jewelry, jars, bowls, coasters, trays, and even light switch covers.  As she perfects her techniques, the crafts she produces are on display and for sale at her business Handmade with Heart, adjoining the Morrison Computer Repair office.

Included in the organizations we support are Morrison High School Athletics, Morrison High School Key Club, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Kiwanis International, and the Morrison Chamber of Commerce. And many more.
